Dispatched includes barcode scanning technology allowing you to use barcode readers on your Quickbooks items and inventory in the field and in the office.  Barcode scanning works with or without Quickbooks.

 

 

With Dispatched, your entire Quickbooks Item list can be turned into barcodes including inventory parts, service items, and non-inventory items.  Dispatched uses barcode 128 to allow your Quickbooks item list to remain intact.  The item name is converted into a barcode that can then be scanned using a barcode reader such as made by Motorola, Symbol, or Intermec.  Handheld field devices can be used to scan a barcode price list generated by Dispatched.  A complete item and inventory list can be printed from Dispatched with automatically generated barcodes.  Dispatched software even allows you to use your own barcode.  Barcode scanners are available for a number of mobile devices.  Many mobile devices have barcode scanners built in.  There are also a number of barcode readers available for mobile devices that do not have built in barcode scanners.   

Dispatched Barcode Inventory Price List

Dispatched software generates a barcode price list for your inventory and non-inventory items that includes the Quickbooks item name, item description, picture, price, and barcode.  For field technicians, the inventory price list can be scanned by a barcode reader and add inventory parts and items directly onto the electronic work order.  Designed for fast, easy, and simple integration, the barcode price list is just another example of the benefits of Dispatched Work Order and Service Management Software. 

Work Order and Dispatch

Service tickets or work order forms can be customized and organized in the dispatch software system according to your specifications.  With built in scheduling software and mapping software, management can efficiently route and schedule jobs and services using current business management logistics. 

GPS Vehicle Tracking

With the optional GPS package for Dispatched, service trucks and service vehicles are tracked in real time, right on the same mapping screen that shows the jobs and service locations.  This is not a website.  Fully integrated into the complete dispatch software system is the mapping and GPS tracking.  Since it is a real time GPS system, your dispatcher will see the exact truck location on the same map system that shows where each job is.  Available on a variety of networks including Alltel, Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T, Dispatched includes optional GPS tracking for any service based industry. 

Equipment and Asset Management

Managing customer equipment and in field assets is also included in Dispatched along with a complete preventive maintenance system.  When your technicians are servicing equipment, full access to the service history and equipment information is available for each job site.  Equipment can also include a barcode.  The equipment section can also keep valuable asset information such as make, model, serial number, etc.  As an additional service to your customers, you can even provide them web access to view this information and the service history for each asset.  Asset Management for the service industry is a valuable feature included in Dispatched.

Mobile Field Service

With service technicians in the field, Dispatched includes full mobile capabilities.  Service technicians can use a variety of mobile devices from smart phones, PDAs, laptops, tablet pcs, or rugged devices.  These devices provide real time access to work orders, equipment, mapping, inventory, and all aspects of the job.  Field technicians can complete the work order with pre-listed custom phrases of work performed (eliminating mis-spelling), add parts and items, and capture the customer signature on the device.  Since the system is real time, a completed ticket can be invoiced immediately.  With the mobile field service option, you need to look at this dispatch software business management system.
